Classes and Training
The school offers four classes to suit all levels and objectives:
- Sanda (Chinese boxing)
- Tai Chi Quan
- Kung Fu beginner
- Advanced Kung Fu
Foreign students train in separate groups, while sharing their daily lives with Chinese students. Lessons are given in English and are tailored to each student's level and objectives. Every week, a collective 10 km jog, adapted to all rhythms, promotes cohesion and team spirit.
50/50 Option: Learning Mandarin
For those who wish to combine physical training with cultural immersion, the 50/50 program offers 3 hours of Mandarin lessons per day. The second morning workout is replaced by a classroom session, with instruction adapted to your level. (Additional cost: 360 CNY/month, covering teacher and textbook fees).
Whether you're a beginner or an expert, our instructors will guide you as you progress, ensuring that every workout pushes you beyond your limits. You can also explore different styles or perfect your skills in a specific discipline, depending on the length of your stay.

Accommodation and community life
Hosting
Rooms are shared by two, with private bathroom and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available in rooms and throughout the school. Single room available Single room available subject to availability (supplement 1000 CNY per month) to be checked on arrival.
Food
Meals, balanced and adapted to the needs of our customers, are served as much as you like in the refectory, with vegetarian and vegan options. Drinks are extra. At the school entrance, a small store offers drinks, snacks and sports equipment (shoes, ping-pong and badminton rackets, etc.).
Community life
Despite its size, the school cultivates a family spirit, with instructors looking after everyone's well-being. Every month, students and teachers organize an excursion to strengthen cohesion and discover Chinese culture, from kung fu-related visits (Shaolin temple) to tourist sites (Luoyang, Kaifeng, Great Wall). Optional participation, budget varies according to destination.

- Transfer between Zhengzhou airport and Yuntaishan
Theschool can send a driver to pick you up (approx. 450 CNY ) - The drinks
- Hot water consumption for your showers (you pay for what you use)
- Joining our nonprofit partner, Goku Panda (324 CNY), helps streamline your paperwork and communication with Yuntaishan’s school. Processing fees depend on your stay: 810 CNY for stays under 30 days, and 1215 CNY over 30 days. By supporting Goku Panda, you’re helping promote kung fu worldwide.
Duration of stay and VISA
For longer stays, the discount applies only if you pay in full at once. If you choose to pay monthly, the rate will be 3900 CNY per month, without the discount. If you have to leave the school for any reason after paying in full, the school will reimburse you for the part of your stay that has not been paid for.
Length of stay: You can stay anywhere from a few days to several years! We recommend starting with a 6-month student visa, then renewing it on the spot with the help of our support team. It's also advisable to have a changeable plane ticket if you plan to extend your stay.
